A research course for advanced students (open to Juniors and Seniors) involving intensive reading and writing on selected topics from literature, linguistics, or cultural aspects of the Spanish-speaking world, including the Spanish-speaking communities of the United States. This is a required capstone research course for Spanish majors.

Prerequisites: Any two courses from the following: SPAN 377, SPAN 378, SPAN 434, SPAN 472, SPAN 473, or SPAN 477.
