CSCI 437 - Senior Seminar & Research Project 3 Credit Hours 3 Lecture Hours 0 Laboratory Hours
This course emphasizes technical writing and speaking skills and uses readings from the computer science literature. Each student must complete an individual research project in computer science or information systems, including a written report and oral presentation of the results. Required of all computer science and information systems majors and must be taken during the senior year of study.
Prerequisites: Senior standing and at least 12 hours of upper-division CSCI or ISYS courses. Either MATH 241 (Calculus I) or MATH 136 (Calculus for Business, Economics and Social Sciences) is a prerequisite for all upper-division computer science courses.
