MATH 241 - Calculus I

Introduction to Calculus, with an emphasis on problem-solving instead of theoretical underpinnings. Topics covered include limits, the definition of the derivative, derivative rules, applications of the derivative, maxima and minima, basic integration and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus.

Prerequisites: MATH 148 or Math SAT greater than 640 or ACT greater than 31.
