AMMS 117C - Strings Methods

An introduction to the methodology and repertoire used by successful orchestra directors in the instruction of beginning string performers. The instruction will include fundamental performing techniques for all orchestral string instruments. Students will perform in a class setting with emphasis on practical applications in the school. Additional private study of individual instruments is encouraged.

Prerequisites: MUSI 110.
