Women’s & Gender Studies

The Women’s & Gender Studies minor focuses on women’s and gender issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. Women’s & Gender Studies classes offer students the opportunity to learn and think critically about issues related to gender, power, equity, and social change. Women’s & Gender Studies minors acquire skills and expertise that they can bring to any profession, including journalism, science and technology, social services, health care, government service, and more.
