This elective course will explore women’s leadership and leadership styles. The course will also investigate the challenges and obstacles women may encounter in a variety of careers and their possible causes. Students will utilize texts and scientific articles focusing on the structural, cultural, psychological, institutional, organizational, political, personal, economical, and financial issues facing women leaders today. Students will reflect on their own experiences and how gender influences their leadership style and perceptions of the leadership.
