DASC 531 - Data Analysis with R 3 Credit Hours 3 Lecture Hours 0 Laboratory Hours
In this course you will learn how to program in R and how to use R for effective data analysis. The course covers practical issues in statistical computing which include programming in R, reading data into R, accessing R packages, writing R functions, debugging, and organizing and commenting R code, and searching large natural language data sets. Several large data sets will be examined to demonstrate the use of R statistical language in data science.
Prerequisites: Admission to graduate program; STAT 374 .
