This course focuses on nursing concepts related to specific mental health needs of diverse clients across the lifespan. Cultural and social influences, as well as individual perceptions related to mental illness are explored. Emphasis is placed on the development of competencies in the ethical, safe, collaborative, and evidence-based provision of mental health care.
