MUED 472 - Technology in Music

A hands-on class taught in the music technology lab. Emphasis will be on CAI (Composer Assisted Instruction), MIDI applications, keyboard and computer sequencing, the internet as a resource for the needs of musicians, and facility in using notation programs. The course will be project-oriented with emphasis on the practical uses of technology in educational settings.

Prerequisites: MUSI 111 and MUSI 131.
