Music methods and practical experiences for teaching of choral/vocal music in the schools. Emphasis on classroom management, and motivational strategies. Will include the study of repertoire on UIL contest lists, evaluation of choral and solo voice literature and performances, and practical conducting experience in a simulated classroom environment.

Prerequisites: MUSI 212 and MUSI 232.
