Numerical techniques for solving mathematical models of scientific problems. Topics include the numerical solution of equations, error analysis, numerical differentiation and integration, interpolation and approximations, numerical solution of systems of linear and nonlinear equations and eigenvalue problems. Also offered as CSCI 338.
