EDUC 378 - Science for the Child

Introduces science content, science education theory and research, and pedagogical strategies for the EC-6 classroom. Students are actively engaged with a wide variety of hands-on science activities from the fields of physical science, earth science, and biological science. Laboratory is required.

Prerequisites: Admission to the teacher education program; EDUC 332, EDUC 334A, MATH 133 or above; six hours of natural science coursework.
