CSCI 334 - Database Design 3 Credit Hours 3 Lecture Hours 0 Laboratory Hours
This course provides a comprehensive foundation of relational database management systems, including the application of data normalization to create effective, reliable, and flexible databases. The course explores database administration and querying using Structured Query Language (SQL) to join, retrieve, update, and manipulate data. Other topics include relationships among entities, E-R diagrams, XML, and data mining.
Prerequisites: CSCI 136 or CSCI 248 .
