CRCJ 332 - Principles of Criminal Law 3 Credit Hours 3 Lecture Hours 0 Laboratory Hours
A study of the nature of substantive criminal law: philosophy and historical developments, major definitions and concepts, classification of crimes, elements of crimes and penalties using Texas statutes as illustrations, and justifications of and defenses to criminal responsibility.
Prerequisites: CRCJ 231 or SOCI 375 .
