CHEM 435 - Medicinal Chemistry

An examination of the process of drug discovery and development. Topics will include process development of new compounds, metabolism of compounds, and a wide-array of different medicinal compounds, such as chemotherapy agents, anesthetics, vasodilators and analgesics. Recommended: Passing grade in CHEM 249.

Prerequisites: CHEM 248.
