ATHL 531 - Clinical Practice I

A graduate level course intended for students who are enrolled in the professional portion of the athletic training program. This is a laboratory-based course designed to begin instruction and evaluation of clinical proficiencies in athletic training. Students will be assigned as the primary health care provider in a specific clinical setting and provide care under the direct supervision of clinical preceptors. Weekly meetings will reinforce concepts learned in the clinical setting.

Prerequisites: Acceptance to the Professional Phase of the Athletic Training Program.
