Mathematical theory of Probability, general study of discrete and continuous probability distributions, multivariable distributions, moments and mathematical expectations, special probability distributions and density functions (e.g., geometric, hyper- geometric, negative Binomial, multinomial, Gamma, Beta, and Exponential), sampling theory and mathematical treatment of hypothesis testing, and estimation including method of maximum likelihood and Bayesian Estimation.

Prerequisites: DASC 531 or STAT 375.
