This course builds on Complex II and focuses on nursing concepts related to the care of the critically ill adult experiencing health alterations including burns, shock, trauma, and organ transplantation. Emphasis is placed on quality improvement processes, the provision of evidence-based care and interprofessional collaboration in planning, implementing, and evaluating care of the client.
