MATH 133 - College Algebra

This course covers equations, functions an their graphs, including linear, quadratic, exponential and logarithmic functions. Word problems are emphasized. Intended to prepare students for MATH 136  or MATH 148 . Recommended as the lowest level mathematics course for students planning to major in Business Administration, Economics, Natural Sciences, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Social Sciences, Kinesiology and Education.

Prerequisites: MATH 113  or SAT greater than 440 or ACT greater than 15
