Directed observation, participation, and teaching in the elementary schools for 14 weeks, full days. A student’s academic load for the semester in which he or she is engaged in student teaching is limited to 12 semester hours. EDUC 437 and READ 475 are to be taken concurrently.

Prerequisites: EDUC 332, EDUC 334A, EDUC 431, READ 332 and READ 270, and admission into the student teaching program.
