IMPORTANT: An overall GPA of 2.0 and a major/minor GPA of 2.0 is required for graduation. All degrees require a minimum of 124 hours. It is the responsibility of the student to fulfill all degree requirements.

General Education

Take the Following Distribution Requirements (18 hrs):


Arts 6 Hrs


Humanities 12 Hrs (No More than 2 Courses/Discipline)


Natural Sciences & Math 6 Hrs (1 Crs w/lab)


Social Sciences 6 Hrs

3 semesters (usually 9 hrs) modern or classical language (or demonstrated competency or a minimum of 11 weeks in an accredited study abroad program) and 12 hrs in disciplines other than History related to student’s major emphasis 6 hrs must be upper division.
