IMPORTANT: An overall GPA of 2.0 and a major/minor GPA of 2.0 is required for graduation. All degrees require a minimum of 124 hours. It is the responsibility of the student to fulfill all degree requirements.

Take the Following Foundation Requirements (18 hrs):
Basic Quantitative Literacy
Engaging Faith Traditions
Modern Language
* The language requirement can also be met by a study abroad program lasting 4 weeks.
- Foreign language at 131 level or higher *
Take the Following Distribution Requirements (18 hrs):
Humanities 12 Hrs (No More than 2 Courses/Discipline)
Natural Sciences & Math 6 Hrs (1 Crs w/lab)
Complete the Following Competencies:
- 3 Critical Thinking Courses (T)
- 3 Engaged Citizenship Courses (Z)
- 2 Communication Courses (C)
- 1 Ethics Course (E)
History-Liberal Arts (33 hrs)
6 Hours of 100-level HIST Courses:
9 Hours of 200-level Courses:
3 must be either 233 or 234
12 Hours of 300-level Courses to Include HIST 378:
Supporting Coursework (6 hrs)
Option A (21 hrs):
3 semesters (usually 9 hrs) modern or classical language (or demonstrated competency or a minimum of 11 weeks in an accredited study abroad program) and 12 hrs in disciplines other than History related to student’s major emphasis 6 hrs must be upper division.
