An introduction to clinical patient care in the athletic training profession. Students will be introduced to the core competencies for allied health professions and how disablement affects care decisions. Domains of the Board of Certification’s Practice Analysis will be used to discuss foundational knowledge, skills, and abilities of the athletic trainer.

Prerequisites: Acceptance to the Professional Phase of the Athletic Training Program.
