AMMS 115C - Brass Methods

An introduction to the methodology and repertoire used by successful band directors in the instruction of beginning brass performers. The instruction will include fundamental performing techniques for all brass instruments and the mastery of all fundamental performing techniques for all brass instruments and the mastery of all fingerings. Students will perform in a class setting with emphasis on practical applications in teaching situations. Additional private study of individual instruments is encouraged.

Prerequisites: MUSI 110.
